I'm just starting Perl, I downloaded a book and found a website that claims that it can teach me the basics in 21 days! I'm up for that. I'm within two classes of completing my MBA and I now want to learn Perl so that I can get involved in Bioinformatics. I want to develop a compound that modifies the way fuel grade ethanol is produced. If my hunch is correct, I can make a compound that will reduce the energy requirements of the process by more than 25%.
