Yeah.... I have been developing a MUD in perl for about two years,i have decided to call the code base Chupacabra, because all those damn existing code bases have crappy names like DIKU and SMAUG and ROM.... bah, we need more meat eaters. Plus it has inside joke qualities. Currently it is about 75% ready for play testing... needs more areas.
