ZartroidZ has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I need the library in the title. It seems like no one wants to make this available to download because they don't have a version that works like it's supposed to... Where can I get any version at all?

    The definitive place to get all Perl modules is the CPAN.

    I think the module you're looking for is actually called LWP::UserAgent.

    There is a LWP::UA inside LWPng . It is alpha code - maybe that's why "they don't have a version that works".
