    I spoke to davorg just to make sure it was okay to extend the invitation to those who cannot make it to TPC this year - I found out from O'Reilly that BOF are open to anyone free of charge. So, if you're in the area - feel free to come on by! :)

    Any chance of doing this later in the week instead? A lot of the other tracks (such as the Apache track) don't start until midweek -- so I'm not even flying in until Tuesday afternoon. Granted, I booked early, when the conference calendar still read:

    • 23-24: Open Source Summit/Full-day Tutorials
    • 25-27: Open Source Conference

    So, needless to say, I can't make it Monday *g*. I'll make a point of going if it's later in the week :)

    FYI, looking at Schedule of BOFs it seems that the PerlMonks BOF has been rescheduled to be from 8pm to 9pm, instead of 7-8, but still on Monday night in Harbor Island II. I'll check with davorg if I see him before then.

    I am in a similar situation as spudzeppelin except mine deals with a prior engagement on the same evening. My fingers are crossed that you'll succeed with changing the date :)

    Update: in a whirlwind of fate, my prior engagement has now been moved to Wednesday, so if the BOF gets moved my fingers are now crossed that it won't be to Wednesday ;)
