As some of you may have seen our dinner plans in NYC have forked due to network downtime and people making separate plans.

So if everyone shows up to:

print ["Lombardi's","The Heartland Brewery"]->[rand(2)];
We should be fine. When I ran it on my computer the first time I got: Lombardi's so that is where I'll be.

Thanks to everyone who did some of the footwork for planning this.

Sounds good to me. For those who don't know where that is, see Dinner with Vroom. (And my apologies to gregor42 for having jumped the gun before he posted Meet VROOM in NYC. I had no idea why he was down, and I did try to reach him.)

Here is the current status I got from /msging the people who had indicated interest before.

    1. aardvark (Yes)
    2. Amel (Yes)
    3. cogent (probably, but no final confirmation)
    4. ChemBoy (No)
    5. Desdinova (Yes)
    6. gregor42 + 1 guest (yes)
    7. japhy + 1 guest (No)
    8. one4k4 (No)
    9. petral (Yes)
    10. tilly (Yes) + add one guest
    11. vroom (Yes)
So we are at 10 people. If anyone else is planning to, show then please tell gregor42 or post in this thread so we know how big a hord^d^d^d^dcrowd to plan for.

    UPDATE
I think the above list has stabilized.

    UPDATE 2
Scoop. They won't be holding a table for us, but they have several tables that can hold 10 people. It is just a question of having someone come down 20-30 min before. So I will try to be there at 6:30, and hold a table for anyone who asks about where the "PerlMonks" group is. The address is 32 Spring St. The #6 train's stop on Spring St is supposed to be one block away. The N, R, and W stop near there at Prince St. A bunch also stop at Broaday and Lafayette St. You can plan your route with the NYC Subway Map.
