PAR Packer windows

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to convert my .pl into .exe I have downloaded perl packer for windows. Active perl 5.12.4 is installed in my PC. I have also installed MinGw tool. But while I execute pp -o myscript.exe myscript.pl, It throws the following error: Can't locate pp.pm in @INC. BEGIN failed compilation aborted at C:\perl\bin/pp line5.

How did you install pp? Using PPM or via the instructions?	[reply]

I installed using cpan install PAR::Packer	[reply]
