That's because 5.16 is a stable branch, and nothing of importance has changed since 5.16.1. The announcements for development versions or for the first versions in any stable branch always mention lots of changes.

If nothing of importance has changed, why release at all? In fact there are important changes - bugfixes.	[reply]
