DistZilla: podweaving single file

McA has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all,

I started to look at and to use Dist::Zilla with PodWeaver. It's nice that boilerplate is generated.

When I'm writing documentation I just want to check the outcome of what I've written. Is there a way to produce the (pod) output of one file without building the whole module/dist? A kind of perldoc $(weaveit file.pm)

Have you read the Dist::Zilla documentation re itself and Pod::Weaver? I have to admit, i didn't find anything there which was obviously relevant, but didn't follow all the Pod::Weaver links, either.	[reply]

Does `podweaver thisfile.pm` work? Looks like you'll have to make your own to weave_file ...	[reply]

Hi! Thank you for that hint. I did find that too. A first shot gave not the results I wished. I didn't go deeper to see what is missing.	[reply]
