Oh, don't mind me. I'm just a perl deployer; I've been working with it for at least 12 years, but I cannot yet call myself adept or wizardly. I inherited a home-brew MVC perl framework 10 years ago at my current gig, and have been working to improve upon and maintain it every since (with some other languages and projects toss into the fray as well.) Meanwhile, things like Moose and Catalyst happened and now I feel as though I am disconnected and far behind the times. So, here I am, looking to learn what it is I need to learn, learn it, begin to make an unsheltered name for myself, contribute to projects, and otherwise change the world for the better in my own introverted way.
