Like, put it where you have `Spreadsheet::ParseExcel->new`, replace one ->new with another ->new	[reply] [d/l]

Yea, tried that..see my scratchpad under Excel reading issues. It didn't save nearly enough memory (a 45MB xls still needed around 300MB memory to load) (which you confirmed :P).	[reply]
