Don't be discourged japhy. It's tuff to be in a situation where you so enjoy something, while others just grin and bear it (or just bear it). In truth, not everyone enjoys their jobs or the tools they utilize to implement it. Also, remember everyone has their prejudices or favorites - unfortunately perl may not be among your co-workers. Be encourged by the fact there are so many people who are, loving using perl as well as learning it and possibly being converted. Don't forget there is this huge community who backs you and every other perl programmer out there. Don't worry, be happy. Some will come to their senses, and some... well... it'll come in time. For those who don't, don't stress on it. They're missing out. :)
