I haven't used it, but I think Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::SaveParser claims to do just that.

yep! =) Just googling for perl append spreadsheet directly led me to this SO discussion --> how-can-i-modify-an-existing-excel-workbook-with-perl, saying the same. It also mentions a Win32::OLE approach. Cheers Rolf	[reply]
