For the Perl 6 advent calendar I write my blog posts in Pod and ran them through `pod2html`. I'm too lazy to write pre-tags around my code examples and escape stuff myself. Perl 6 - the future is here, just unevenly distributed	[reply] [d/l]

perl514 (I assume the same one) had a comment on his blogs.perl.org post A very small script to check the masking information for each of the cloned devices that shows how to do it. Not sure if it addresses what you are experiencing. --MidLifeXis	[reply]

OK: I found a solution for this. It's a plugin called "Crayon Tag Editor" and after some fooling around I got the darn thing to work. So, I haven't put my "how-to" up yet, but I will. Peter L. If you are a GitHub user, you can use the Embed GitHub Gist plugin to do so. That will give you a nicely formatted code block with many options. If you just want to use the WordPress editor and write your code, I've had good luck with SyntaxHighlighter Evolved and WP-Syntax. You just have to pick which one you like best. Oh, and at this very moment, I'm using the Twenty Twelve Theme. I'm looking at some other responsive ones (including Frank), but haven't pulled the trigger yet.	[reply]
