delete that file, and try installing again	[reply]

I decided to try again using force. That worked!!! Thanks for all your help on this! To recap for anyone experiencing a similar problem the solution was to delete pp.bat from C:\site\perl\bin Re-install pp using force. cpan> force install pp	[reply]
