But isn't %_ immune to strict in the same way and for the same reasons as $_ and @_?
Maybe technically :) but according to the current documentation it shouldn't be, because unlike "$a" and "$b" the hash "%_" isn't used by sort or any perl feature
OTOH, perlvar, which lists $a and $b, also says these types are exempt from strict-vars
so what about %_? Makes sense to me for strict-vars to compain , its not like it requires extra chars like %{_} or ${^SNACKS}
