Adding "OT" does not make an off-topic question better. If it has no relevance to Perl, you need to give more justification why it is posted on a site named Perlmonks.

Coldfusion is far outside of that, unless you need to talk to it from Perl, for example.

    Corion,

    I considered that other monks wouldn't be interested in a coldfusion to Perl question, so I marked it with 'OT:' and clicked 'create'. It was the error message that I got about violating PM rules that was the surprise. I removed the 'OT:' and the thread was accepted, which I considered strange.

    But, I'm not interested in 'CF' :-)
