I have one device from "Aeroflex". and trying to connect this device from Fedora through raw scoket connection . i am able to to so manually means trough putty. but want to do so through script.

If you can connect through PuTTy, you do not need "raw sockets". Putty only speaks "Telnet", "SSH" and a plain TCP connection. All of those are available through Net::Telnet, IO::Socket or Net::SSH2.	[reply]

Can you provide a link to the device, like a manufactures web page? How are you connecting via putty, telnet/ssh?	[reply]
