Did you read and understand the responses you got to how to print out side of foreach loop($k1 $a{$k1}) ??

Declare:

at the beginning of your script.

for my ( 0..$input-1 )

    $message[$_][1] = 42;

  print "\t", $message[1], "\t", $message[0] ,"\n";

$_ is a special variable that acts as your $index would if you omit it. Google for perl special variable $_ examples for more info.

They specifically asked how to print without using a for loop. The responses in the previous thread show examples of doing this, and an explanation is provided. Your code (which uses a for loop to print) does not even compile:

Are you sure this is what you intended to show them?
