apache DBI debug

jack.craig.aptos has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

i need to add a module to my mod_perl on fedora 17. building the src got me started and i was able to add my module and hit it from my browser. but swapping to fedora 17 pkg, i cant find how to add my module for use with apache::dbi. Pointers anyone? TIA, jackc...
