Maybe you could explain in plain language (especially without l33t-sp3@k) how you would accomplish this task using pencil and paper. Even if it would take two centuries and all the papyrus in ancient Egypt to accomplish, at least we would have some idea of what algorithm you would use to carry out the task. Then we might be able to offer suggestions as to how you would use a computer to hasten the task.

If you've already gotten started, also present some code for us to look over.

The way your question has been asked, it gives me the impression that:

    • You have no idea how to program.
    • You have no idea how to analyze EST data sets to predict Poly(A).

...because, if you had a clue about either of those items, your question probably would have explained the parts of the process you're having trouble with, rather than just asking for a solution.

If that's the case (that you don't know how to program, and don't know how to predict Poly(A) from EST data sets), your best option, especially considering that your deadline may contribute to an early death, would probably be to hire a programmer who has a background in Bioinformatics.

And if it's not the case, please do explain the process you would like to implement, what code you've come up with so far, and what part you need help with.

    And then what happened?

plzzzzzzzzzzzzz any1 here can help me? :(((((( deadline of my project gona become death line

I doubt it (i don't think so), because on perlmonks , most questions about bioinformatics are asked by people who've never written a computer program, , and they're asked using bio...jargon, and they're never answered using bio...jargon, people who know bio...jargon usually don't visit perlmonks to answer questions

Those of us who try to answer question usually have to ask what the bio...jargon means

    See Tutorials: Perl and Bioinformatics

And try asking your question in such a way that it might stand a chance of being understood by those who don't know bio...jargon

Thanks for your precious advice i will follow
