"Out" has several Quantum superposition states, depending on whether you mean "available", "usable", "officially released", on "widely distributed".

A good place to start is to ask the spokesbug for perl6.

    G'day perlperlperl,

    "Is Perl 6 out yet?"

That's a very vague question. If you're asking if there's something you can download, the answer's "yes"; if you're asking if Perl 6 is production-ready, the answer's "no". See http://www.perl6.org/ for details.

It will be out by Christmas.
