Question on Databases

omorfos has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello,i am a new user of Perl. I need to build a database made entirely out of numbers that are taken from various sites.The thing is i don't know which module/modules to use. Can you pinpoint me to some that will do the work? I have read about LWP,DBI but i am not sure they are what i need. Thanks a lot ,i appreciate it!! D.

Welcome to the Monastary! Not much to add to answer your question, but I wanted to thank you for taking the time to do some researching, find modules which appear to be going the same way you're trying to go, and intelligently requesting a check that you're on the right path.
