Unfortunately, that's simply insufficient information to get any sort of reasonable answer. You'll need to provide a minimal script that reproduces your problem along with any relevant input, output and error messages (if such exists). You'll find guidelines for doing all of this in "How do I post a question effectively?".

Also, you've posted in the wrong place. I've moved it from Meditations to Seekers of Perl Wisdom. Don't worry about this: you don't need to do anything further - just be aware it's in a different place.
