If there is a general problem with the quality of Khen's post

What do you mean if ? Sometimes your command of English grammar/vocabulary appears expert, other times...

Just read the OP and read what Khen1950fx wrote -- the reply is essentially:

I scan your question for at most three keywords, and I ignore your question, and I offer you copy/paste/cargocult thats irrelevant to the problem you're trying to solve, does that help?

I first noticed Khen1950fxs wisdom in 2009, and spelling this out repeatedly is boring, and it just gets considered trolling or insults

Linking to previous instances is dubbed metatrolling or personal attack

Doing what Ralesk did is pointless waste of time because
Khen1950fx doesn't much care about the copy/paste he posts; nothing changes;
Doesn't matter how factually you refute Khen1950fxs noise, what kind of language you use, if Anonymous Monk does it, LanX will consider it "troll! personal attacks" and most recently "mobbing" -- I had to look that up -- what a brilliant propaganda

So thanks for that. I now feel better about posting pure-insults directed only at Khen1950fxs and not his "wisdom"; no I won't go nuts and respond to every one of his nodes, but if I come accorss an obvious one, I will

Sorry, sorry Sahib! I vill try improove ...

Collect a set of these instances and link them in one post.

If you try to control your tourette and use an objective language I doubt anybody will reap it.

And next time you feel the need to answer one of his posts you can just link to the collection.

That's far more efficient than calling him a "bot" or a "dumb troll".

Well ...if your accusations are true.

Having read some of the links LanX posted about this whole thing and some of the posts Khen1950fx has made, I do think both of you have a point.

It would come off a lot better, were you a Named Monk with recognisable contributions. I feel similarities here with another recent argument, but there both parties were known. If you assume an identity (be it the same as your normal identity, or a sockpuppet (which is of course generally frowned upon, but whatever)), it... it will define you somewhat, and there you can build (and destroy) your credibility. Whatever, I can’t phrase my thoughts for some reason. It just seems that named people can boldly go where nameless people cannot, maybe because you can easily blame them if they’re being stupid. By which I mean, I’ve seen some vile comments, much harsher than what was said here, and they got off with it.

On the other hand, there is a problem, just like in that other argument. And not just with the “attacker” — it takes two to tango.

Update: Oh, and seeing the sibling post above now... Yes, please do make a collection with sensible reasoning. It shall be better for everyone in the long run.

Oh, I did thoroughly enjoy it. It’s been over a decade since I last had to solve a ‘What does it print?’-style problem; it was a favourite thing in (computerless, hand-written) tests in C and C++ at the university I attended. I mean favourite of the professor. We the students all loathed those (especially the C++ ones, it’s a terrible mess), but nostalgia must have sweetened things...
