Simply running as root, `export ORACLE_HOME=/opt/oracleas/product/11.2.0/client_1 export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib export NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.US7ASCII cpan install DBD::Oracle` [download] Since this is not DBD::mysql, I'm not sure how to interpret the linked threads to my case(?) It's not going to use DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH...	[reply] [d/l]

It's not going to use DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH... same problem, only one solution, get it to find the .so -- if LD_LIBRARY_PATH Its very bizzare that its being ignored, but you're root, so try the hardcoding options	[reply]
