matze77 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Problem:

Mails from a single user have been deleted accidently (Date July 2013)
My Possible Solution:
? Copy all Mails from Mail Archive DVDs (.eml files) from July to new location (currently in progress) and searchin in files for username@domain.tld and copy those files to a new directory? Something like: 

grep directory for username.name@domain.tld | export filename to copy 
+command| copy filenam to /maildir2

[download]

etc. Any help with possible commandline? (I am on windows with strawberry perl but could copy the files to a linux server if its easier ...)

      Seems like the cpan module does not install any ideas?
