Is there a way to modify a consideration?

G'day Monks,

Today, we have a situation where Reaped: Re^2: Epoch based parser was posted anonymously. It had a 'code' tag markup typo and was duly considered. A short while later, this was reposted (Re^2: Epoch based parser) but now the poster was logged in.

I was going to consider the anonymous posting for Reaping but, as it's already been considered for Editing, I can't do that.

So, in general, is there a way to deal with this beyond raising the issue in Perl Monks Discussion, as I've done here?

If what I've done here is the best way to handle this type of situation, could someone with appropriate permissions change the consideration of Reaped: Re^2: Epoch based parser to "Reap: anonymous duplicate of Re^2: Epoch based parser".

For the specific issue, Reaped: Re^2: Epoch based parser (the anonymous duplicate) is now considered for reaping.

In the chatterbox, you can /msg the Janitors and ask them to unconsider a node. Then you can consider it again. Perl 6 - the future is here, just unevenly distributed	[reply]

A /msg to the Janitors is the best way to reach them if none of them happen to be online. If one or more are online and paying attention to the CB, mentioning it in the CB will probably get faster action. Dave	[reply]
