Wandering around PM (logged in) sometimes I appear on the Other Users list and sometimes I don't. Currently for instance, if I consult the list, I am not actually here :-) Likewise other regulars seem to come and go on a minute by minute basis - I presume that they, like me, are not furiously loging in and out. Caching would not seem to be an issue. Is this a known bug with the everything engine?

      You also can't link to it as [Other Users], I guess because it's a nodelet. (At least I can't follow that link -- I get a "You can't go there".) A strange beast indeed.

      I've also noticed vroom has been at the top every time I've looked in the last few days. I'm starting to think it's really a vroombot.

        The list of monks in the Other Users nodelet is ranked by XP, so our Fearless Leader will always be at the top of the list when he is logged in.

    update it struck me that since it is named "other users" i should not appear at all in the list that i see. i wonder if it's a bug that i see my name _ever_ !?!

    i have noticed this too but i figured (psychically and without looking at the EE source) that it's probably just a short notloggedinafterxsecondsorwhatever value so if i don't request a page for 5 mins then it assumes i have logged off and when i do request a page it serves it up before updating my lastlogintimeorwhatever value so i won't see myself until the next page i look at and only then if i'm inside the notloggedinafterxsecondsorwhatever time... *phew*
