Then use ls() to list the files and get() to download them...or if you already have a list of files to get, then just get() them...and as far as grep goes, are you referring to command line grep, or perl grep? You really don't need to use the command line grep...I can see maybe using grep though... You may have to show some minimum amount of code to show what you're having trouble with.	[reply]

Ill work on putting together the latest bit of code for everybody to look at. Problem is i butchered it so much trying to figure this out there isnt a good example left lol... I was using perl grep. I guess the real problem i am having is inconsistencies. For example i can put together a list of file names that i need to get but if there is even the slightest inconsistency ftp kicks me out or the search function returns undesirable data...	[reply]
