Hi, thank you. But this is a MySQL speciality and not mandanted by the SQL spec. More intersting: Look at the 5.6 version of that document http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/order-by-optimization.html: Relying on implicit GROUP BY sorting in MySQL 5.6 is deprecated. Regards McA	[reply]
