What do you mean by "globbing support"? There has never been globbing support in ack. Any globbing is the responsibility of the shell.

`ack` 1.96 seems to have had support for globbing, and that's useful because on Windows, the shell does not do glob expansion. `ack` 2.08 seems to lack support for globbing.	[reply]
