Below is a snippet from a tool I am working on. What I am trying to do is, loop through an array of files. If it matches a particular string of characters, pass it as an argument ot a subroutine. If it matches a different string, I want to open the file and read each line into an array. Same thing with yet another string.

The problem is, that when I run my program, I get the following error:
