I tried, and couldn't find a way that would still allow me to place things in specific locations elsewhere in the window. When I tried this no matter what I tried, the sizers took over and put everything near the top of the window. I may just have to rethink my design a bit.	[reply]

(3 kB) Instead of WxPanel try naming your panel label_panel or left_label_panel ... naming your widgets/controls descriptively is important One way of keeping track (what goes where) is naming your sizer/container elements by position, and incorporating the parent/child relationship into the name.
