Hi,

Has anyone had success with the technique for reordering the nodelets suggested by vroom? (turning all of them off, then turning them back on one by one). My problem is that I have not been able to turn them all off: If I uncheck all of them, the nodelet bar does not change. As long as I leave at least one, the change occurs. So if I leave just one, and then start adding the others in the order I want, they start reappearing in the original order. This happens both for front-page and non-front-page nodelets.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

If you uncheck them all the default nodelets will return however the technique I mentioned should work.

      Ok, here's what I did:
      1. Modifying non-front-page nodelets, so that I can see my changes immediately.
      2. Uncheck all the nodelets. Submit. The nodelet display does not change.
      3. Check "Chatterbox". Submit. Now only the chatterbox node appears. So far so good.
      4. Check "Sections". Submit. The Sections nodelet appears above the chatterbox. Ok, I think, maybe it adds them in reverse order.
      5. Check "Other users". Submit. The Other users nodelet appears below the chatterbox. Uh-oh.
      6. As I check other nodelets and submit, they appear in their default order, not in the order I check and submit them.
      What am I doing wrong?

      Thanks,

Apparently what you're doing wrong is listening to me. My testing method for that particular method of ordering nodelets was adding them in order... oops. In the future you'll get some sort of ordering mechanisms.
