Yes you are very correct. Actually this is first time i am working on low level network programming. Actually system is accepted only on socket level data pass.

can you tell me some high level protocols??If i am not wrong are you talking about web services(HTTP, HTTPS)??

Hi, I was thinking of modules such as Net::FTP (which is a core module), Net::SFTP, Net::Telnet, Net::SSH and many other modules available in the Net domain of the CPAN: http://search.cpan.org/search?query=Net%3A%3A&mode=module. Which one would be fit really depends on what exactly you need to do.	[reply]
