Maybe a "The following people sent a note of thanks -- thanks!", somewhere. I can't see where that couldn't be easily automated. Maybe even the "Page of thanks", or something. Just so those who do take the time, know they were heard.

    A page thanking people who said thanks seems like pointless recursion. Optional confirmation of thanks may be something of interst to some, however given that (once approved) their message is visable on the public archive this too may be over kill.
