IIRC, Mac OS set the epoch at Jan 1, 1900 for some reason.

It helps to remember that the primary goal is to drain the swamp even when you are hip-deep in alligators.

Different OS, different assumptions in the core libraries. ~~See DateTime::Format::Epoch (esp: http://search.cpan.org/~chorny/DateTime-Format-Epoch-0.13/) for some other examples.~~ Blech. Terrible example. --MidLifeXis	[reply]
