Just set the input record seperator to your string. For instance:

$/ = "****";
[download]

I'd also strip out new lines after reading the file in since 11111111**2222222 2222222222**33 3333 will result in ("11111111", "2222222\n2222222222", "33\n3333") assuming that you didn't want the line break in the data. Do you?	[reply]
