what are the numerous penetrating tools that one can find on CPAN? some are : Net::PcapUtils; NetPacket::Ethernet qw(:strip); NetPacket::TCP; NetPacket::IP qw(:strip); tcpdump is also one? can anyone point out more for different tasks in a penetration test?

there is nothing about that post

No, there is not an itemized list of how-to-do-it there, but amidst the snark there are a few good comments. It sounds like you didn't find that post yourself, which might mean you didn't search for it. As far as I have seen, that's not an area that excites much interest around here; a search would have revealed that. You might find more information elsewhere. If you do, it would be great if you would update your post. Save the next guy some time.
