how to create a menu page?

sriram83.life has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

hello monks, I want to create a menu page on the Linux terminal using perl. Everytime i run the script, it should clear the screen and show the menu items only like an AIX "smitty" tool execution. How can i achieve that?please guide me.

Is Curses what you were thinking of? (See Curses::Menu) update: UI::Dialog::Screen::Menu, and Tui::Menu sound like possible candidates too. Searching on "menu" als shows me Term::ANSIMenu, Term::Menu, Term::Menus, Shell::Menu, and (yuck) Cmenu. It must at least offer you some ideas Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn	[reply]
