I want to add that you're asking for a favor. Alexander's reply is perfectly cromulent. The onus in situations like this is on the requestor, not the provider. Be humble and deferential if you ask. vim+Win is a minor slice of the Perl dev world, trendy or not. When asking for someone to do work for free for you, remember to be and to act grateful.
