Well, F4 isn't exactly ascii ...

so I'm not surprised that part didn't work ... microsoft makes it real hard to translate the keycodes into the correct message for keyboard ... the links previously posted regarding this talk about it -- its a huge microsoft pita

my idea is to use PostMessage (like hwndSendKeys does) to to send a close the window message ... WM_CLOSE
