I was thinking about using perl for commercial purposes and was wondering
how you could keep someone from just ripping off your code.. and of course
this reminded me of obfu.. and anyway.. here's my first attempt

UPDATED! I removed the version with all the smileys as I felt
it was a little too showy and not enough of the original effect I
was attempting to achieve, and changed a few words in my
description as per a request.
