I'm interested in taking over Device::VantagePro as it appears to be unmaintained. I have been unable to contact the author (TROXEL), so as per the CPAN FAQ I am posting a message here to see if anybody can help me. Is anybody in contact with the maintainer or know the status of the module?

    That author of that module has more recently released (in April 2012) Physics::Water::SoundSpeed ... and the Physics::Water::SoundSpeed docs specify: 
    troxel@REMOVEME perlworks.com

    Might be worth trying to get hold of him at that address (minus the "REMOVEME ", of course) if you haven't already done so.

      Thanks for the reply Rob. That's actually the email address I've already tried (although I found it through Google rather than that module).

      Interestingly he has another module (Business::FedEx::RateRequest) and that's had a release this year, subsequent to the emails I sent him, so he must be around ;-)
