PID of signal sending process

dwaraka79 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have signal handler and would like to find the process id of the signal sender, how to do it in perl? Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

What you need is the `si_pid` slot from the siginfo_t structure, not directly available from Perl. The topic has been discussed here before: siginfo.	[reply] [d/l]
