    Thanks Anonymous Monk,
    I'm well aware of those modules and I have used them to make interactive menus based on user input. My main question was editing. For example: you have fields on the console and you use the Tab key or the page keys to go from field to field and edit that field in place...currently I edit by clearing the screen each time to page to a new field for editing. I would like to do this all on one screen. I apologize if I was not clear the first time. Thanks.

      See Win32::Console.

        I give to two thumbs up to the Win32::Console as I've been using that quite frequently for my other coding projects...although documentation is lacking in the area I have questions about. Anyone have a working example? Thanks.
