in reply to New free TTF font for coding: Camingo

:) I think it sucks :) there is no difference between I and L. I'm sticking with DejaVu , some of my comments regarding readability of fixedsys(9) / DejaVu Sans Mono Bold .... if only there was a bolder DejaVu :)

Not following you -- no difference between I and L? I'm seeing a difference in those two letters when upper case or lower case, and a nice difference between 1 and l (if that's what you meant). Tnx.

Hmm ... bizzare, for some reason the fonts weren't loading, I don't even know what font I was viewing, will have to reboot

I can view them at http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/jan-fromm/camingo-code/webfont_preview.html and yes there is a visible difference ... so I take back what I said :)

Will have to investigate, can't decide if I like it from the web preview

        Well, I'm back :)

Camingo "Regular" seems takes too much vertical space , more than dejavu or courier or fixedsys

I assume they all do since that is the only font that loads on my machine (windows, go figure)

Maybe bold one looks better but it doesn't look that way (comparing webpreview)

Its very close to Dejavu but not quite what I prefer
