in reply to citrus perl generated .exe and Perlapp

and then execute it without it extracting the .exe and .dlls?

No

OTOH, you have citrusperl, why are you bothering with perlapp which claims to only work with activeperl?

perllapp identified my citrus perl install on its own, it setup searching my citrus perl installation for modules. the problem is it doesnt correctly recognize the correct .pm's and the generated exe with perlapp doesnt work.
im trying to get around having loose files in the executables directory. i would like for it to be clean and tidy without 4 depending files and 2 depending folders.

Files/folders are clean/tidy by definition, they're files and folders :)

lol, you got a point there, but i think ill just figure out why i cannot get the gui working with wxperl and active state perl. cz i like for my exe's to be independent.
I want it to "look" professional, even tho im /not/ a professional.

Actually... installing citrus perl made me realize actually that i didnt have the correct modules installed anyway lol. i will cross refence my citrus perl and download the same modules thru cpan or ppm for active state and see what happens, cause if it works in citrus perl, there should be no reason it doesnt work in Active State with WxPerl ^^

Without involving citrusperl at all, right?
