iamravikanth has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Monks,

I am trying to install the R3-RFCAPI in one of my windows server but it fails with the following error at the test step.

Any suggestions would be really helpful.

The server is a windows 2008 server 64 bit but runs a 32 bit perl version.

I was able to install it successfully in my laptop which is a windows 7 32 bit machine.

Possibly permissions? There's some goofy stuff concerning protected files introduced at some point in the Windows NT line in the name of security.
