Dear Monks, I've been using the framechat a lot lately and I think I found a bug. Since it says at the end of that page that I shall report any problems in the PM Discussion I'll do just that.

When you got a private /msg and clear it using the submit button in the appropriate frame (have tagged the messages) they disappear (which is just fine). But on the next reload of that frame the monastery gates appear.

I can't tell whether that's my problem (browser related, firewall, etc) or whether it's a real bug. Anyway I just thought I might drop a node on this.

Regards... Stefan

it is not just you; it happens to me, too. hitting back after submitting has become a habit for me, personally. i believe this is because the url it is refreshing to is not being handled properly, somehow. (which is odd, since it looks the same to me as one that works.)

relatedly, i would like to see the "talk" frame start acting more liek the chatterbox nodelet, meaning telling you what you msg'd to whom.

however, to nitpick, that isn't framechat. that's the PM frames interface to the chatterbox, which seems to be nameless. framechat is a client written by epoptai.
